Boo: That guy is creeepy!
That’s what my 5 year old called the kindest, most innocent, alien being from my childhood, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. We were at Universal Studios today and I earmarked the E.T. Adventure ride right away because, well, E.T., like most people my age, is as sacred to my childhood as Underoos and Freezy Freakies.
No one messes with E.T.! He made Reese’s Pieces a reality for our world! That alone is enough to never be messed with.
But that’s exactly what Boo did. He not only messed with my emotions about E.T., he has me second-guessing E.T.’s creep factor. Look deeply into his eyes and forget that you fell in love with this wrinkly dude with the magic finger. The dude is creepy isn’t he?
