“Underwear-Free” I say as if it is some sort of decision for me to shun the conventions of society. The reality, as I found out this morning after flying into San Francisco yesterday is that i forgot to pack underwear. I’ve forgotten things in the past while traveling. You know, the standard things like a toothbrush or a razor. Other times, I’ve forgotten things like running shoes which have caused me some pain in preventing me from working out while on the road but didn’t go against the laws of hygiene.
So this morning I got out of the shower, went to the suitcase and realized, no undies made the cross country trip. Ugh.
Don’t worry, I didn’t have to go commando. Fortunately I have an extra pair of compression shorts that I use for running with me. Interesting that I brought 3 full running outfits but zero pairs of underwear. Looks like I will be heading to Union Square later today to buy myself some reinforcements!
