Sitting high above a limestone riverbank along the Vistula River in Krakow, sits Wawel Royal Castle. This castle mixes Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Early Baroque architectural styles and was the very first place in the world designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
